Just to explain. The Little Pet Biscuit Company is a micro business. Just one person baking biscuits, packaging them, posting them and dealing with all other matters. The biscuits are all handmade and the only machinery involved is a Kenwood mixer! Because there is no automation, only a relatively small number of biscuits can be produced. They have become incredibly popular as they are so good and customers have started ordering them in very large quantities. When this happens, our small stock of biscuits disappears very quickly.
So, as a temporary measure (hopefully!) we are imposing a MAXIMUM limit of 10 bags of our LPBco handmade dog biscuits per order. Flavours can be mixed and matched, but no more than 10 in total per order please.
Hopefully you will understand that this is just for us (me!) to be able to maintain enough stock of biscuits for as many customers and their pooches as possible.
We aim to have your goods ready to send to you within 3 working days of ordering. However, please do bear in mind that there may be a slight delay during very busy periods such as Christmas, so if you need your treats urgently, it would be a good idea to contact us first.
We mostly use the services of Royal Mail and occasionally DPD depending on the size and weight of your order. We always aim to select the most cost effective delivery service for your order to keep postage rates as low as we possibly can for you. We only charge for the actual cost of postage and packaging to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible, and in one piece.
We currently offer the following shipping options and costs:
Order value up to £45 -
A) Royal Mail 2nd class - typically up to one week from dispatch. £3.95
C) Orders over £45 - FREE postage.
Your order will be packed in a cardboard postal mailing box. We pack our boxes with shredded Kraft paper and unprinted newsprint paper, to provide additional cushioning where necessary to help minimise any potential damage during transit.
Our cardboard postal boxes are great because they can be reused or recycled. They can also be put in your compost maker for maximum eco-friendliness!
On rare occasions a product may become unavailable and if this happens, we will let you know that the time of your order.
If you've changed your mind about keeping your purchase, please return it in its original condition and we'll refund it. You are responsible and bear all costs associated with returning the item(s) to us.
This should be within 28 days of receiving your order. By original condition, we mean that you have kept the packaging, all labels are still attached and that the item is unused, undamaged, free from pet hair and free from pet odour.
We are not able to offer refunds on perishable items such as pet treats, edible items, handmade and personalised products.
How to return your item:
Please contact us for the correct returns address.
Once we receive your return we will inspect it and if it complies with the conditions above we will process your refund payment, it can take up to 14 days from your returning the item(s) to receiving your refund.
We will only process refunds for lost parcels 10 working days from the day your parcel should have arrived. Please note that most parcels arrive within a reasonable time, but in some exceptional circumstances, your delivery may take longer than usual due to unavoidable service delays at Royal Mail.
